In view of “WORLD HEPATITIS DAY” the departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Public Health Dentistry of our college conducted an awareness program on 27th July 2022 at Excel College of Nursing, Komarapalayam. An awareness talk was given on hepatitis, its causes, and its management by Dr.M.Chandramohan, HOD of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr.R.Prakash, HOD of Public Health Dentistry delivered an awareness talk about oral health and its maintenance to the students. Around 300 nursing and health inspector students attended this program. Demonstration on brushing technique was given to the students as part of the program.
