Biochemistry
Overview
Biochemistry Department was started in the year 2004, and is involved in undergraduate and post graduate teaching to dental students. The students’ practical laboratory is well equipped to carry their day to day practical work. The available facilities in our department supports other departments of our dental college in the treatment of patients.
The faculty of Biochemistry Department are qualified to teach various aspects of biochemistry in an interesting way to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. They also encourage the students to attend and present scientific papers at various dental conferences held across the country apart from Tamil Nadu state.

- Well planned clinical chemistry laboratory is attached to the Dental College Hospital that supports the investigation part for Dental clinicians
- Our staff is also involved in Institutional Review Board (IRB) and ethics committee also.
- Students are also helped by our staff for their dissertation work and to carry out ICMR project work
