IQAC & the Department of Periodontology, KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, in association with the Indian Society of Periodontology, celebrated World Oral Health day 2022 on the theme “BE PROUD OF YOUR MOUTH”. Our faculty members Dr.Nitya Kala, Dr.Tamilselvi, and Dr.Bharathi delivered lectures to III BDS, IV BDS, and CRRI respectively regarding the importance of oral health. Photography contest was also conducted for the teaching faculty and students based on the theme “VIRAL SMILE”. Dr.U.Arunmozhi, Professor, Department of Periodontology from Sri Venkateshwara Dental College adjudged the entries of the contest. The winners of the faculty category were Dr.Nilophar MDS, Dr.Mukilan, and Dr.Suman, and in the student category Ms.D.Manasa CRRI, Ms.S.Abberaamee CRRI, and Dr.P.Vishnu III PG, Department of Periodontology were the winners. Dr.Sharath Asokan, Principal, congratulated the winners and gave away the trophies to them.
