School dental health education program organized in Thoothukudi!

Team Pedo organized a School Dental Health Education Program at Sarah Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thoothukudi district on 8th April 2024, as a part of World Oral Health Day Celebrations. Around 50 children of Grade IV were screened for oral problems and oral health awareness education was given to 120 children of Grade IV to VI regarding sports injuries and the precautionary methods. Immediate management of dental traumatic injuries were emphasized. Brushing demonstrations were given to all children and free tooth paste samples were distributed to all the children.
