Oral screening and health awareness camp conducted in Coimbatore!

As a part of World Oral Health Day Celebrations, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry conducted an oral screening and health awareness camp at National Model Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore, on 10th April 2024. Around 70 children of Grade VI were screened for oral health problems and toothbrushing demonstrations were done. Children were asked to volunteer for toothbrushing and this helped them to reinforce the proper brushing techniques. Free tooth paste samples were distributed to all the children. Awareness about healthy food habits and good oral hygiene practices were instilled.
