An oral health screening camp was conducted by the department of Public Health Dentistry in association with Regional Transport Office, Tiruchengode on 13th May 2024 in the KSR Educational Institutions campus for the drivers of various institutions in and around Tiruchengode. The drivers visited the campus as a part of fire safety awareness program organised by the Regional Transport Office, Tiruchengode. Around 78 drivers were screened for oral diseases and they were educated about the importance of oral health. They were demonstrated about proper brushing method and also maintenance of oral hygiene. A team of 10 members which included teaching staff, interns and non teaching members conducted the camp. The program was successful in imparting oral health awareness among the drivers.
