On account of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day celebration, offline and online events like rangoli, surgical craft, memes and essay competitions were organised. Many students and interns competed in the events. Theme was focussed on promoting OMFS speciality and its importance on society. A quiz was organised for the interns. Dr.Jeyagowri, Director – Surmount Study Center, Coimbatore and Dr.Priyadarshana, Reader, Department of OMFS, RVS Dental College, Sulur, Coimbatore, graced the occasion and were the quiz masters. A total of 32 interns divided into 8 teams competed in the same. The participants and the audience had a great insight about the various topics of OMFS covered in the quiz competition.
