Internet safety awareness program conducted by the Women Empowerment Committee and NSS

The IQAC, Women Empowerment Committee and the NSS, conducted an awareness program on “Internet safety” at the Sengundar Vidyalaya Matriculation School, Erode on 9th March 2023. Red – the color of motivation, awareness and courage – was chosen as the color of the event. Internet use has become an integral part of our lives, exposing children to potential risks and threats. A skit by the interns and an interactive lecture by Dr.Esther brought to light the safeguards, guidance towards responsible and informed use of technology, and directions for seeking assistance if necessary. Around 60 children enthusiastically participated in the activities during the session.
