Dr.V.Pavithra, who completed her BDS from our institution in 2021, has been selected to pursue PhD under the “Indian Council of Medical Research – Nurturing Clinical Scientists” scheme. Dr.Pavithra was a recipient of the ICMR-STS grant in the year 2019. Her project proposal for pursuing PhD was accepted by the ICMR and she will be doing her PhD at Manipal University.
ICMR Nurturing Clinical Scientist Scheme provides fellowship to pursue Ph.D in any of the recognized MCI/DCI accredited colleges. Applications open up in the mid of June every year. Applicants should send a concept note for research work to be carried out, duly forwarded through the host institute and the guide. The applications are scrutinized by different panels of experts before the fellowship is awarded.
