CDE Program On “Dental Anxiety” conducted

Department of Physiology and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, Tiruchengode, had organized a one day CDE webinar on 28th January 2022. Dr. A.M. Devapriya, Professor in Periodontics, SRM Dental College gave a Guest lecture on “Dental Anxiety – A Cause for Concern – Diagnosis and Management”. Around 130 participants comprising of teaching faculty, post graduates, and under graduate students registered and attended the webinar through zoom platform. This webinar gave an idea for carrying out research and clinical practice in managing the dental patients with anxiety and phobia through psychotherapeutic interventions, pharmacological interventions, or a combination of both.
