CDE program conducted by the Department of Orthodontics!

The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics conducted a CDE program titled “Alignofacia ’24” on 29th April 2024. This event was organised in a hybrid mode with one lecture being offline and two lectures online. Three prolific speakers were invited for the program. Prof.Dr.S.Nagalakshmi, Principal, Vivekananda Dental College for Women, headed the offline program and Prof.Dr.A.Pavitranand, Head of Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry and Dr.Anusya, Associate Professor, Department of Orthodontics, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem, took over the online event. The topics covered were “Know your aligners”, “How to build an orthodontic practice for a general dentist”, and “Unveiling the ubiquity: Orthodontics from 6-60 years”. A total of 167 students and 15 staff members attended the offline event and 80 participants attended the online event.
