A two-day training program “The Open Secret – Authors and Reviewers Workshop” was organised by the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) and hosted by the Editor-in-Chief of JISPPD, Dr.Sharath Asokan and the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, Tiruchengode on 15th and 16th October 2022. The ISPPD President Dr.Mousumi Goswami and ISPPD Secretary General Dr.Nikhil Srivastava graced the occasion with their presence. Over 60 participants across the country, including faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students had registered for the program. There were 13 lectures on the following topics: peer review & editorial cycle, manuscript writing and errors, introduction to Mendeley, guidelines based on all study designs, and errors in statistical methods. Ten CDE points were allotted by the TN Dental Council for this program.
