Anti-ragging workshop held

An anti-ragging workshop was held on 13th October 2018, to sensitize the students and staff about the menace of ragging and the ways to prevent it. Invited guests included Dr.M.C.Sainath, Member, Dental Council of India, Mr.A.Thirumoorthi, Advocate, and Mr.A.Elumalai, SSI of Police. The guests enlightened the audience with their words of knowledge from the perspective of their respective fields of occupation. The chief guest, Dr.M.C.Sainath, also made a powerpoint presentation about the evils of ragging. Students, faculty members and wardens of the boys’ and girls’ hostels attended the workshop. The principal Dr.G.S.Kumar and professor Dr.Elangovan felicitated the guests.
