Add on course on managing medical emergencies conducted

Surgical Strike 2K23 – A workshop on managing medical emergencies in dental office was conducted by the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as an add-on course on 14th, 15th and 16th June. On day one, 14th June, a lecture was taken by Dr.Chandramohan on medical emergencies and their management. The duration of the lecture was 3 hours and 117 members including faculty members, postgraduates, and interns attended it. Following the lecture, hands-on experience on management of medical emergencies on simulated patients and practice of IM and IV were carried out in the Department of OMFS for 3 separate batches on 14th, 15th,and 16th June. The duration of each session was 3 hours.
