Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics

Overview

Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics came into existence in the year 2004 and post graduation was started in the year 2012. The mission of our department is to promote health care, provide education and pursue excellence in patient management.

Standard of care:

Hygienic patient care is given utmost priority throughout. Disposable materials are used during the treatment. Universal precautions with strict Infection control measures are followed for operator and patient safety.

Student Education and Training:

Our department excels in having competent faculty . The entire faculty is actively involved in research. The students are trained under the watchful guidance and expertise of competent faculty members . Students are exposed to clinical observations along with theory and practical classes to equip them to perform comprehensive patient care procedures.

Clinical services provided:

We provide treatments ranging from direct and indirect tooth restorations, vital and non-vital bleaching, esthetic veneers, non-surgical and surgical root canal treatment, re- treatment of failed endodontically treated teeth, aesthetic rehabilitation, smile designing and surgical endodontics with state-of-the-art infrastructure using Dental Operating microscopes. The department provides good treatment to as many patients as possible that report to K.S.R Institute of Dental Science and Research hospital.
